EASD Postgraduate Education Courses (PGEC)

European PGEC-Courses
As the constitution of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) states, the Association is committed not only to strengthening diabetes research, but also to facilitating the application of patient care. The EASD has a long history of organising innovative clinical postgraduate courses all over the European region.

Extra-European PGEC-Courses
Working closely together with ADA and IDF it was decided to organise joint extra-European courses starting in April 2005. An internationally-distinguished faculty of clinicians working in diabetes and its complications from Europe, North America and elsewhere, meet in a selected city. Local experts are included on the faculty and workshops are run by one of the international faculty together with a local specialists.
