EASD Early Career Academy Meeting 2026
The second EASD Early Career Academy Meeting provided again an excellent opportunity for early career researchers from across Europe and beyond to learn, connect, and exchange ideas.
Alongside insightful presentations from invited experts, a central focus of the meeting was to provide a platform for early career researchers to share their work, exchange ideas, and engage in scientific dialogue as we strongly believe that advancing diabetes research requires both, listening to established voices and amplifying emerging ones.
A heartfelt thank you to all participants for their active engagement and for contributing to such a stimulating and collaborative atmosphere, our outstanding faculty for sharing their knowledge and for being so approachable for questions and discussions, the German Diabetes Center (DDZ) for hosting the meeting and to Lilly, Vertex and European Diabetology for their generous support of the meeting.
