AIM AND FORMAT

The Robert Turner Course offers young researchers the opportunity to be trained by an outstanding clinical team on the basic requirements for clinical research. The course consists of interactive teaching as well as practical clinical studies designed and operated by the participants.
The aim of the Scientists Training Course is to promote new talents in the field of diabetes research and to foster diabetes research in centers throughout the world. It is a multi-day integrated course with a mixture of lectures, workshops and hands-on training.
The Diabetes Technology School is an exciting new programme which aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals in the field of diabetes technology.
The Immunology School, a new course programme, designed to bring a refresher on immunology in type 1 diabetes and novel diagnostic and therapeutic tools to endocrinology or diabetes-trained healthcare professionals.
By invitation
The Oxford Workshop brings together leading international experts from diverse scientific backgrounds, including keynote speakers and senior scientists accompanied by a junior scientist, to chart the future course of the chosen field rather than simply review familiar data. The junior scientists deliver the presentations, which are followed by in-depth discussions.From 2026, we will accept open-call applications for a limited number of places. The IGIS Meeting is an educational exchange, bringing together senior scientists and young investigators; it is aimed at the promotion, enhancement and dissemination of scientific and medical knowledge. This is a multi-day integrated course, offering lectures, discussions and poster presentations.
