Election of 2 new EASD Board members
EASD members are invited to vote on 2 new Board members with term of office from 2025 to 2028.
All paid-up EASD members (as of 30 June 2024) have received an email from CES with the link to access the voting site on 24 July 2024. The ballot will be open for 3 days. Cast your vote and encourage other members to do the same. Thank you for your ongoing engagement.

Diabetes Community Pledge
The European Diabetes Forum (EUDF) asks you to pledge your support for the 32 million people living with diabetes in the European Union and their families. Together, we can ensure people with diabetes in Europe live longer and more fulfilling lives, avoid preventable costs and strengthen the resilience and sustainability of health systems.
The Diabetes Community Pledge has been developed by a broad coalition of organisations working in the field of diabetes and supporting people with diabetes.
The Pledge contains 15 concrete policy recommendations addressed to the European Union and to Member States to improve the lives of People with Diabetes and those at risk.

The European Foundation for the Study of Diabetes (EFSD) was created by EASD to provide funding in all areas of diabetes research across the entire European Region. The aims of EFSD are to encourage and support groundbreaking diabetes research and to promote the next generation of leading diabetes researchers.
Diabetologia is the Journal of the EASD and publishes original clinical, translational and experimental research within the field of diabetes. We are interested in papers that convey new information or insight into any aspect of the condition, ranging from basic science to clinical applications.
